Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Unique Bath of Seattle ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit uniquebathseattle.com, upload a photo to our shower visualizer, or submit a lead form (including Meta Lead Forms shown in our Facebook and Instagram advertising).
Information We Collect
We collect information you voluntarily provide when you:
- Submit a lead form on our website or through a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad
- Request a custom shower preview through our Visualizer tool
- Contact us by phone, email, or text
- Use our Design Studio tool to explore shower options
Information you provide may include your first and last name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and project details (such as shower style preferences, dimensions, timeline, and a photo of your bathroom if you choose to upload one).
We also automatically collect limited technical information when you visit the site, including IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and pages viewed. We may use this for security, troubleshooting, and basic analytics.
Bathroom Photos & AI Visualizer Processing
When you use our Shower Visualizer, you may upload a photo of your bathroom. To generate the visualization, your photo is sent to third-party artificial intelligence services we use as processors — currently OpenAI and Leonardo.ai — over encrypted connections. These services apply our visualization instructions to your photo and return a generated image to us.
We do not send your name, contact information, or other personal details to these AI services together with the photo. Per the published API terms of these providers, customer-submitted images are not used to train their models by default. We retain visualizer images and generated previews so we can show them to you and reference them during a consultation; you may request deletion at any time using the contact information below.
How We Use Your Information
- Respond to your inquiry, including creating your custom shower preview and scheduling a consultation
- Provide pricing, design options, and answer questions about our services
- Communicate with you by phone, email, or text about your project (see "Calls & Text Messages" below)
- Improve our products, services, and website
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
Calls & Text Messages (SMS Consent)
By providing your phone number through any form on our site or in a Meta Lead Form, you agree that Unique Bath of Seattle may contact you at that number — including by automated technology, prerecorded message, and SMS/text — about your project, your consultation, and our services. Consent to these communications is not a condition of purchase. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text or by calling us at the number below; you may reply HELP for assistance.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate our business — for example, our website host, scheduling and CRM software, email and SMS providers, and the AI processors described above
- Our installation team, only as needed to deliver the service you requested
- Authorities when required by law or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of others
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Lead Forms
If you submit a lead form through a Meta ad, your information is collected by Meta and shared with us. Meta's handling of that information is also subject to Meta's Privacy Policy. We use the information you submit to contact you about a custom walk-in shower or bath remodel.
Cookies & Analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for basic analytics, security, and to remember preferences (for example, the visualizer keeps a session token in your browser so you don't have to re-authenticate during a single session). If we add advertising or remarketing pixels (such as the Meta Pixel or Google Analytics), we will update this policy and those tools will operate under their respective providers' published privacy practices. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in settings; the site will still work without them, though some features may be limited.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as we have an ongoing relationship with you, plus a reasonable period after to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and support follow-up projects. Visualizer photos and generated images are retained on the same basis and can be deleted on request.
Data Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and a tunneled architecture for back-office tools — to protect information we collect. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices & Rights
You can:
- Request a copy of the personal information we have about you
- Request correction or deletion of your information, including any photos you uploaded to the visualizer (see "How to Request Data Deletion" below)
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time — reply STOP to any text, click "unsubscribe" in any email, or call us at the number below
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (for example, the California Consumer Privacy Act). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information at the bottom of this page.
How to Request Data Deletion
You can request that we delete personal information we have collected about you — including any photos uploaded to the Shower Visualizer, generated visualizations, lead form submissions, and consultation notes. Submitting a deletion request is free.
How to submit a request
Send your request through any of the following channels:
- Email: [email protected] — subject line "Data Deletion Request"
- Phone: (425) 491-2984 — ask for the privacy contact
- Mail: Unique Bath of Seattle, Attn: Privacy, Greater Seattle Area (mailing address available on request)
What to include
- Your full name
- The phone number and/or email address you used when contacting us or submitting a form
- The ZIP code associated with your inquiry, if known
- A brief description of what you would like deleted (for example, "all of my information," or "the photo I uploaded to the visualizer on [date]")
We may need to verify your identity before deleting information so that we don't act on a request from someone other than you. Verification typically means matching the contact details you provide against our records or, if needed, a short follow-up call to the phone number on file.
What we will delete
Once we have verified your request, we will delete or anonymize:
- Lead form submissions (name, email, phone, ZIP, project notes)
- Photos you uploaded to the Shower Visualizer and any visualizations generated from them
- Consultation notes and call records linked to your contact information
- Marketing-list entries and SMS opt-in records
We will also instruct the AI processors described in "Bathroom Photos & AI Visualizer Processing" to delete any cached copies of your image to the extent their systems retain them; we cannot guarantee deletion of copies held by third parties beyond what their published policies provide.
What we may retain
We may retain limited information when we have a legal or legitimate operational reason to do so, including:
- Records related to a signed remodeling contract, payment, warranty, or installation, for the period required by tax, accounting, or warranty law
- Records needed to defend against or resolve a legal claim
- Suppression-list entries — for example, an opt-out record so we do not contact you again after you have asked us to stop
- Aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you
Timeline
We will acknowledge your request within 7 business days and complete deletion within 30 days of verification. If we need more time because the request is complex, we will let you know and explain the reason. When deletion is complete, we will send a confirmation to the email or phone number you used to make the request.
If we cannot honor part of a request (for example, because we are required to retain certain records by law), we will tell you which information could not be deleted and why.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit a deletion request on your behalf. We will need written confirmation from you authorizing the agent before we act on the request.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Lead Form data
If your information was submitted through a Meta Lead Form, deleting it from our records does not automatically remove it from Meta. To remove it from Meta, follow the instructions in Meta's Privacy Policy or visit your Meta account settings.
Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults considering a bathroom remodel. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be reflected at this URL.
